How often should I use Scrubsy?

We recommend running one Scrubsy Washing Machine Descaler tablet through your washer once a month, and one Disposal Cleaner pod through your disposal every 1–2 weeks. A 24-count box gives you a full year of use.

Is Scrubsy safe for HE / front-loading washers?

Yes. Scrubsy is formulated to be fully compatible with all high-efficiency (HE), front-loading, and standard top-loading washing machines.

Is it septic safe?

Yes. Both products are septic safe and gentle on your plumbing.

Do I need to run an empty cycle?

Yes — for the descaler, run a hot empty cycle with one tablet in the drum. For the disposal cleaner, drop one pod in the disposal and run warm water for ~30 seconds.

What’s in it?

Plant-based active ingredients, biodegradable surfactants, and mild chelating agents that break down mineral buildup and lift residue. No bleach, no harsh solvents, no dyes, no artificial fragrance.
